Canary Wharf, not the place you’d first imagine someone living, if they mentioned in passing that ‘they lived in London’; but upon closer inspection you’d understand why. The docklands business district with internationally renowned addresses such as One Canada Square boasts some of the most cutting edge, spectacular architecture and cityscapes in the capital. It has the benefits of some highly acclaimed restaurants (Gordon Ramsay’s The Narrow and the gastro pub, The Gun), its own shopping mall, various healthclubs (Virgin etc.) and a sailing club at Millwall, Mudchutes Country Park (a real gem to discover) and all on the water’s edge. It goes to show Canary Wharf is not just a place to work; it is a market in its own right and a fun, vibrant and exciting place to live too.
