The town also benefits from close proximity to two train stations; Great Bedwyn and Pewsey which both offer a direct train service into London Paddington stopping at Reading along the way.

By car, Marlborough is only a short drive from the M4 motorway and Swindon. Marlborough’s large high street hosts a farmers market regularly and there are a range of shops and restaurants.

For those planning to commute to London or travel there on occasion, the villages near to Swindon are ideal; from Swindon you can catch a train to London Paddington and the journey takes an hour.

This area, in particular, is also ideal for those travelling by car as the M4 motorway, which links Cardiff and London, is nearby. Residents can easily commute to Bristol and Reading using the M4.

Villages such as Liddington and Chiseldon both located within the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty south of Swindon are popular with our clients looking in the area.
