James Freeman SCOTLAND (Edinburgh & Lothians)
James was born and bred in Yorkshire and moved to Scotland in 1998 after graduating from Newcastle University. He now considers himself to be properly domiciled after over 20 years of living North of the border.
He started his property career working for two major national estate agencies as a sales agent, specialising in the Scottish country house market.
In 2016 he joined a well established Edinburgh based relocation agency which he subsequently led a management buy-out of. This line of business, coupled with previous residential experience, has enabled him to develop an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the local property market in Edinburgh, The Lothians and The Scottish Borders – the area which he serves and so loves.
James knows the recipe for any successful move, especially when moving with a family from afar. He is widely connected in both the sales and lettings circles locally, and his grit and determination will often unearth fantastic off-market opportunities for his clients.
For the investor, he can impart valuable knowledge to ensure that the right decisions are made, blending capital growth potential and realistic rental yields.
James is a family man with his wife and four children, so when he is not sourcing properties for clients, he loves spending his time entertaining them on East Lothian’s stunning beaches or in the Lammermuir Hills where he lives.
He also has two Spaniels, Molly & Mindy, who some clients might be lucky enough to meet. Keeping the whole clan well exercised keeps him on his toes.
